Re: Edirol FA 66 or Motu 4pre (shoplifter reckoned 4pre)
I have been using the FA-66 with a MBP for a few years now and it is mostly totally solid. Sometimes, and I am not sure what causes this, I will get some glitches and or a really long lag on my recording(it is like one second latency). I discovered that by clicking the audio engine off, then back on...

Rewire error message at startup that won't go away
I hope someone can help with this, as it is mad annoying. I was trying out ways to rout a stand-alone tanpura (Indian drone instrument) generator into Live and tried to use Rewire. This didn't really work and I switched to using Soundflower, which works fine for my needs. The problem is I get a dial...

Re: What do you cats use to record your mixes ?
Is this a trick question? Can't you record your session into arrangement view, tweak to taste, then render as whatever format you want? Might want to sneak a peek at the manual...Please forgive me if I've misunderstood, but recording and rendering your mix is one of the raisons d'etre of Live!

Re: Program a BPM change assigned to a midi button/key
hi, not sure if this will help but you can name scenes in session view with a bpm, then when you launch that scene, the global bpm changes to that number. for example, naming a scene "123bpm" then launching that scene with your midi controller, will change the global bpm to 123. if you lea...
