Re: Serato sample is awesome

I agree, it is making me think about jumping ship since I can use it in a daw that supports vertical zooming in the timeline with a (gasp) key command!! As someone who loves to sample, it gives me an easy way to do sample based songs in other daws, in a way that was previously only really available ...

Re: Simpler Time-stretching

I accidentally thought my push2 would do all that for me. As a Newbie you will expect this (i excepted this). Many vids show how you slice beats/sample - but you have to know: you have to warp the Sample/mp3 first and save this settings in Session View. Then all the next steps like "slicing per bea...

Re: Live 9.7 step backwards regarding slices...

...ok, but you can tune/pitch each slice with push...isn't that what you're aiming for?... Close but not exactly. In Maschine you press the keyboard looking icon and you can instantly enter a new mode where that slice is playable across the keyboard. It really helps for creating new melodies and re...

Re: Live 9.7 step backwards regarding slices...

I own Maschine, and it is certainly not perfect either, but my main issue with push vs machine or MPC is that I still can't slice up a sample and then quickly have *each slice* chromatically played like you can with MPC's 16 levels or machine's keyboard mode. I've made the feature request, and this ...

Re: Live 9.7 step backwards regarding slices...

Ableton seriously needs to get their slicing game together. Too many things are still too difficult compared to maschine or mpc. I have bought m4l devices to expand the slicing features, but after paying what I did for Push 2 that's ridiculous. I'm very close to selling and going for Mpc live.

Slice to new midi track from Push 2

It seems (please correct me if I'm wrong) that there is no way to slice a drum break and keep the midi file of the sliced drum break all from within Push 2. Slice to new midi track right-click functionality that currently exists in Ableton, is needed from Push 2 please.

16 levels pitch feature

The new 16 level velocity option is great in 9.7, but what i really want is a chromatic pitch option that works the same way. Thanks...

Re: Where are the Max for Live Essentials Lessons stored?

If you mean right click the pack in the finder, all that does is reveal a context menu, and none of the options in that menu lead to the Lessons file.

Where are the Max for Live Essentials Lessons stored?

Live 9.5 Simpler "Slice to SAME Midi Track"

Small request, this feature would save several clicks. Currently I am having to slice to a "New" midi track, then drag that midi clip back to the Simpler channel I am working on and delete the newly created channel.

Re: understanding PDC problems and solutions

How you guys handle this ? Do i really have to export every single Synth ? I save the clips to a folder, with the same name as the project, when it sounds about right, then I freeze the track at low latency and flatten it. No need to export, just save a backup in case you really need to change some...

Re: Solution to missing Plugin Delay Compensation for Automation

I've never fully understood the following so just to clarify... if I avoid using automation in Live, shouldn't Live's PDC work reasonably well at keeping my music in sync? My understanding is there is a 1ms latency to using sends, but other than that, everything else (including 3rd party vsts) is co...

Automation delay compensation, scrollwheel zooming would make my year. Retina support too.
