Why Live doesn't do this and every other peice of audio/video software I own does, is beyond me. But you should be able to apply a string of effects on any one clip without it effecting the other clips on that track.

I'm interested to know how you think this should work?

I'm hoping so. Maybe have Ms Pinky be an internal plug in for live where everything could be automatically synched.

I got the Ableton newsletter and saw that they have a joint venture going on. Anyone have the inside scoop on what they are up to?

Microtonic is fantastic for those sounds. Automating the decay and noise on some of the hi hat type sounds works really well.

Firstly. I have 6.05 and do not see this. So it's something other than a bug. There is something about your configuration that is causing it. Does it happen if your are just using apple's core audio for sound? Have you tried different screen res.?

second. The install should be parallel or at least ...

I run the same set up and haven't experienced an problems with it. Try a different ensemble or instrument as that might be what is causing it.

wow suddenly ultraconservatives seem so much more accessible to me and all my homies. Why didn't the think of this earlier.

After about an half hour with it I am very happy. The scenes feature is just awesome. One scene for clip firing, another on a different midi channel for drum pads, another for hits and dummy clips. Wow.

Yeah it's the pratice to performance thing that hangs me up.

It seems like I practice with them and then when we go live they slip back into dj mode. It just seems like my dj friends have a hard time wrapping their head around planned performance. I try to meet them ...
