Re: Rant: too much freakin beat repeat in the world!

I think its a little narrow minded to think that that effect only exists because of Ableton. I've heard that effect of short loops getting shorter in vinyl mixes from the early 90s. Its just one more tool in a DJs toolbox. ALot like an electric drill. There are hand drills, but an electric one just ...

Re: Why isTraktor becoming the standard for djing

@ 80 & djwack: You can assign a control to effect selection and even choose which effects to include and the order they scroll in. @ monstrejumo: I actually hate how it displays cover art, thank god its gui is customizable. I only have the two decks showing without all the controls in the middle but...

Re: OT: The death penalty for cracked software - too harsh?

When you are purchasing software you are are not actually purchasing software (unless its on a disc). Normally you are only purchasing the right to use that software in the manner laid out in the license agreement. Its not yours to do what you want with. So how is it stealing if you can never truely...

I haven't had any issues with mine (apart from it disagreeing with my laptops webcam driver, which I just uninstalled). I do love the immediacy of the interface, everything is right there, on the box. The only time you have to bring up the software driver control is when you want to change the sampl...

I have problems with all USB-MIDI devices that use the
Windows driver (because of my integrated webcam...long story...)
I had a similar issue with my HP and its integrated webcam, so I just uninstalled the camera's drivers.

I have a cheap little thing from china that hass a little tiny trackball on the top and two triggers on the front, its like half a playstation controller, you just hold it in your hand rather than put it on a desk, I guess it would be handy for live use too. http://www.qfonic.com/images/products/pal...

So if I go from Live Lite to Live 7 (@ US$299, which includes Operator & Drum Machnies) I won't get the free upgrade, but I only pay $59? Thats a pretty sweet deal. But you have to purchase the entire Live 7 Suite now to get the upgrade to Live 8 Suite for free? Does the Suite include Max For Live? ...

Cracked Live? I have three (3!!!) Live LE licenses from various hardware bundles software. WTF are you using a crack for? Just go buy a Novation Nio or something and you'll get Live LE 5 with a free upgrade to Live LE 7.

Insta-win!

Novation Nio connects to the laptop via USB, the Miditech Keyboard and Korg EMX connect to it. The nanoKontrol and the X-Session both connect to the laptop via USB.
