Does anyone know why the Mac will only run as slave to the PC and wont work the other way around?

no to mention the Bin Laden jet, which was the ONLY flight allowed AFTER 911, which flew all around america, carefully picking up all the Bin Laden relatives from America and fleeing them to safety OS.

Okay, one small problem......

I can send and recieve midi signals from the PC, but cannot send signal from mac to PC (mac will only recieve). Anyone know how to correct this so i can send midi from the mac?

Same settings as above, this all works on PC to PC.

Okay, i got the mac/pc sync working.
Heres how:

I had to put the midioverlan CP program in the mac OS startup folder, so the program starts with the computer (like hardware). SORTED. :D


Yeah $129 is a bit steep, i wonder if i could just download another 14 day trial when this one runs out ...

Okay, ive just noticed that my mac doesnt meet the minimum requirements for MIDIoverLAN CP . Requirements are g4 400mhz, i have a g3 400mhz :cry: more than likely my reason for this not working.

Does anyone know another app. that i can use on mac & PC to midi sync over LAN? and can the program be a ...

Ive tried the trial version.

Works great with two PCs on XP PRO SP1.

I CANT get it to work with PC & MAC OS10.3.2

So , so far i wont be purchasing the full version, until i can get MAC to PC Ableton LIVE sync working.

Ive been able to connect a mac OS 10.something to PC XP PRO SP1 and the computers can both ping each other, but i dont get any midi in signal to either (but both will output midi signal).
Im using MIDIoverLAN CP (same version on both computers)
This setup worked fine for two PC's ...
