How do you guys go about getting a tight mix of bass and kick? For example, do you use a mult-band compressor on the kick to get it thicker/fuller? What about the bass? Yeah, the first guy said it correctly -- you'll need to use a program like Ableton if you want to have your mp3s beatmatched. Another great program to use is "Audacity." I think the default setting for mp3 conversion is 320kbps. The program is free and works great -- highly recommended!
