This is an especially interesting topic for me to read about as I am running on a very pared down setup: g4 Laptop, soft synths and Oxygen 8. Hmph. I moved a few months ago and put almost all the gear in storage. I packed the bare essentials in an SKB case and I plan on putting together a rudimentar...

i saw kraftwerk live last year and it was SICK. Florian looked like kurtz and glared ominously in green 82 futuristic computer lights.......they might be nearing pensioner age, but seeing them give shout outs to the D with UR remixes in front of thousands of old nerds kept a grin on my face for wee...

I mean c'mon - a live album? and it sounds like they used FM7 all the way thru it :D true pioneers tho and we should respect them for that mosca PS - saw them bac...

Is Live Enough?
Yes, I am asking this question. I use Live primarily now for MIDI and audio, since I only had Logic 5 on OS 9. With Logic gone, I am using Logic on the g4 lappy solely. But... I feel like something's missing. Like... Maybe I'm not using it enough. I mean, I feel limitations when I use it. Like I'm n...

Re: bip
My solution to crashes was to have a simple piece of hardware around - I kept a single synth just for shits n' giggles, and so that if ever I have to do something, I can play some pads or somethin while I reboot.
