Re: Disable clip looks deleted
Wow, finaly someone is talking about it. Thanks! It is bugging me for ages, mainly in Session View/Dark Themes there´s no difference visible between disabled, deleted or empty slots. Do we have to go the long way >Suggestion>Vote>Wait>Hope or are there any workarounds known, theme settings etc.? :D

Re: Create Layout Views for Stages of Workflow
I want a way of setting up a layout, saving that layout to my library and then enabling that layout with a hotkey. Each layout helps me with a different stage of my workflow... This is something quite a lot of users would like to have. The topic is discussed e.g. here: https://forum.ableton.com/vie...

Re: Live 12 is coming !
The new Tag Browser System works much better for Collections. The previous "Collections" can be used as "Favorites" now. And therefore, the amount of "Favorite Groups" is enough, imo. My personal difference is: Collections should grow over time, Favorites should change ...

Re: L12 question about screen layouts
Well, I suspect by the time I get access to centercode that L12 will be released. I'm also doubtful that it will accomplish anything though. I'm not sure what leverage the accessibility expert on staff has, so I doubt random forum users can accomplish much here. Come on Dude, "They" rippe...

Re: L12 question about screen layouts
Definitely bring this discussion to Centercode please! Some L12 changes in this area are terrible mistakes imo, it’s a very serious topic and it needs more voices, especially since those changes are motivated by improving accessibility. Okay, thanks Jur, I see. "terrible mistakes" is an o...

Re: L12 question about screen layouts
I’d be happy with a printable list of commands that doesn’t look like a wall of text. It’s hard to use commands you don’t know exist I am shure most of us would be happy. What we have now is the confusing attempt to integrate: System key commands > Fixed application key commands > Legacy key comman...

Re: L12 question about screen layouts
May I add some thougts to Angstroms question here, even if its L12 Beta related. As much as I value the new screen layout features, the more obvious is the confusion it creates. There is more and more inconsistence added, e.g. some elements have full screen shortcuts (clip editor), others have two d...

Re: Does the icon and splash screen for Live 11 Standard really have to be so ugly!?
Come on dudes,
The Hello Kitty Pink 10 beta splash changed into a decent 11 beta syringa style.
Thank you for that was my first impression.
Associate my music with it?
Yes, my 10 beta works sound kinda pink...
Luckily less Girly Pink than Floyd Pink.

Re: Selecting Clip without triggering it
Live doesn't have a select modifier within the software, this is supported by a number of MIDI controllers via the Control Surface functionality however. Chers D ...and it is the biggest downside of performing with Notebook vs. Push. While I can preselect any combination of session clips via (>Strg...

Re: All this unnecessary highlighting that slows you down.
Let´s call it "penetrant preselections" which can not be deactivated.
Drives me sometimes crazy, too.
I think it is worth a discussion indeed.
Maybe not the way how it started here, please.

Re: The chance of zero latency
No Stephan I’m serious and I’m not off topic. Live devices (almost) don’t add latency, and yeah they work great. You noticed that I said you don’t need “much” 3rd party plugins. Live is missing a very few devices like dynamic equalization or a good amp simulation ( I mean one good for realistic gui...

Re: The chance of zero latency
Plus you'll soon realize that you don't really need much 3rd party plugins, except for their nice GUI, so you could sell them and make bit of room on your hard drive. Wow, a through ball for getting off topic now. Assuming you are not too ironic, even though I honestly wish these words could be tru...
