I have exactly the same problem. I believe one of the reasons this occurs is that when you freeze a track, the wav created is of 32-bit quality (can someone confrim?). By deleting the preferences files is that pretty much the same as clearing out what I have in 'documents and settings' or is there a difference?

Will defrag later and dump temp files too. Was actually gonna check if dumping temp files might damage anything, but presume it won't?

Yes I am using Live 6 and an M-Audio Audiophile sound card. I have played around with the buffer size, but it doesn't seem to make too much difference to be honest (what would you recommend?)

I have plenty of sample CD's but they are a bit dated to be honest. I wanted to see if there was a noticeable difference with any newer loops (in terms of style and quality) before actually buying another CD.

I think even when a track is muted, Glitch still keeps scrolling through its pattern.

The only way to start the pattern from the beginning is to turn Glitch on when you need to use it.
