thanx people.

I cant help thinking though it would be better to have a part of the forum, which listed this stuff, as you might miss stuff trawling through a search.

plus, I always meant to get around to installing the samples CD when I moved from Dell to MAC. thatll be why there are v few built ...

getting b.o.r.e.d. with the sample kits and effects.

is there any impulse drum kits I can download.

Ive only got tresor and montreal and I kinda need a nice loud crash cymbal.

I could just drag in the sample but as ive only got two kits I'd love more.

plus if you could list any other good (free) MIDI instruments and effects' that would be great.

It works, doesnt crash and I feel safe using all the software for it.

With PC's you get a third party soundcard trying to talk to a third party ...

1.1. silence at end

1.2 silence at end

1.3 silence at end

then loop to beginning

1.4. opening vox.

2.0 first beat.

still have to trigger a bar early ...

Im hearing you on that...

I often cut up my loops on an audio editor and trim them..

then in ableton it turnsout theres a bit missing from the end and I have to go back and add silence.

surely there could be a 2 sec bookend that you could add.

cheers for all your help.

for example if the lines goes " i wanna get with you all night long" ( ive made this example up!!!)

the first beat comes in on "get".

how do I configure the sample so i can ...

I reckon a dedicated techy forum for PC users and a seperate one for MACs would make it easier.

for system optimisation and OS specific tips and tricks...

it takes ages to search through all the posts to find the good stuff.

Apple soundcards.

hey people, on the verge of getting an apple laptop and I wanted to know what experience you had of the in built soundcard.

as the Ibook doesnt have an audio in, whats a good "break out box"?

I-mic seems the cheapest and then it goes up to the mad money.
