Re: Sonicstate Namm Push up close
@JuanSOLO, if you want a mono synth step sequencer, just make one in a drum rack, and then you can use the push step sequencer to control it. Or, if you'd rather not build the notes individually for the synth, you should be able to route the midi from a drum rack track into another track with a synth.

Re: McMillen QuNeo looks to be everything I want in a controller
i think people just need to embrace what is so impressive about the quneo: it's open nature. It doesn't make any sense to me to buy something as expressive as this, and then just use some default template. Build your own template! That's the way forward. All issues regarding sensitivity and function...

Re: McMillen QuNeo looks to be everything I want in a controller
received mine in the mail last night. Good fun so far. The pad response on the drumpads is really nice and sensitive, easy to achieve the range of velocity. The xy obviously has some smoothing on it, i look forward to getting access to the raw sensor data. Two finger press on the slider is a little ...

Re: How do I receive audio from multiple tracks?
if you're monitoring an audio input, the snapshot~ object can specify a particular frequency of the sampling, if you don't need the high frequency then this can really cut down on the load. The other thing to do would be to bang the snapshot~ object when you need a sample, instead of having it conti...

Re: Midi Katapult settings in Ableton?
ok, i see where you're going. The only issue is that i'm not actually familiar with the launchpad itself. You have it selected as a 'control surface' correct, and that is how you get the red box and the feedback etc without actually mapping all the individual buttons? One solution would be to make a...

Re: Midi Katapult settings in Ableton?
not interested in becoming involved in a harsh online conversation. I simply came in here to provide a helpful answer to the orignal posters question (he wanted to know how to have multiple 'pages' of the same midi notes on different channels, i was suggesting a way to accomplish this within live it...

Re: Midi Katapult settings in Ableton?
maybe no one here has had any experience with this katapult of which you speak? I know i havent. And it doesn't seem to me to be helpful to reduce yourself to name calling because no one has any answer for you. Maybe you could be more clear as to where you're falling down? Have you tried simply sett...

Re: How do I receive audio from multiple tracks?
use separate patches, monitor the incoming audio then convert it into a value, then use a send object to route all those values to your main patch.

Re: Odd peek~ behavior using m4l patch in live, works in max...
oh, ok. Thanks. How odd. I'm little stumped why the buffer wouldn't be writing for me in live. The signal going into the peek~ object remains regular, and the faction of the buffer which doesn't record stays constant, despite changing the length of the buffer. Odd...but thanks again for helping me l...

Re: Odd peek~ behavior using m4l patch in live, works in max...
thanks for looking into this, but i should note that when i have it open in max, like you have, then all seems to work properly. Its only when i use the amxd inside of live that the buffer seems not to record all the way. Are you able to try it in m4l? Or do you just have max?

Odd peek~ behavior using m4l patch in live, works in max...
so, im having very strange behaviour out of the peek~ object used to write a buffer in a m4l audio rack. I attach the patch as dumbed down as i can make it, the patch works fine when open for editing in max, recording through the buffer normally. But when i close the patch up, the peek~ signal plays...
