I get a similar problem with Beat Repeat automation. It plays fine in the program, but when I export the WAV file, the Beat Repeat is all off.

I love Minimonsta, but I can't figure out how to make automation clips for parameters such as Cutoff. When I unfold the device parameters in Ableton, I can see the Cutoff slider, but when I move it nothing happens.

Any tips?

I'd definitely keep both parts in the same track. That will give it a lot of diversity, making for a more interesting song.

I know what you mean, but I guess the best thing you can do is just make the music for yourself and not worry about other artists' sounds. I try to listen to a very wide variety of music. Thanks for the ideas. I've listened to it with fresh ears, and I'll think about potential changes. The only thing I'm not certain about is getting my kick to punch through the mix. I've tried tinkering with levels and sidechaining and the like, but it just gets covered up. :?
