Monitoring In The Fake World
I hate my monitors. I've been searching for a new pair for over a year. I've been lusting after the Barefoot MicroMain 27's. I just read a review at TapeOp.com of these monitors. Something absolutely essential occurred to me after reading this sentence: "I use the MM27s in an open-concept studio, an...

Re: How to rename a Return track?
Seriously? Do you think it's because labeling the sends would get all confused and difficult?

How to rename a Return track?
Can I rename a Return track and not have a letter (A, B, C...) in front of it. Does that make sense? I want to name a Return track "Reso-LA" but Live will only allow me to name it "A Reso-LA". I want to get rid of the "A"

Re: Record live instrument into each spot in drum rack w/ MID?
Hi. Has anyone thought more about this? I would really really like to access Looper's buffer, before the "Drag Me!" function is used. The recorded audio from Looper must be somewhere!

Hi Machinate. Thanks very much. I'm not sure how to use this code. I'm very new to Max. Is there a script editor that I can access? Really appreciate the help!

Faster(more frequently) = Louder . . . ?
I'm making an insect instrument. I want to replicate the process of an insect rubbing its legs together (or rubbing its head on its abdomen or rubbing one leg against another). Ideally, I'd like to use a slider or potentiometer to do this. The instrument would behave like this: move the slider up an...

Re: please help to rebuild older ableton instrument
Hey! I just searched for "B3P0" (that's a zero) for the same reason you posted this message! I've got an old set that contains an amazing instrument and I don't know how much of it I built myself or if this sound is totally someone else's. I've unearthed 99 .ams files named "B3P0_xxx.ams" where xxx ...

Re: Importing Return tracks and master track from a project
Hi. Has this been answered, other than group the effects in the return track and save to your library? I've been needing to do this for years. Today I want a definitive answer. Any chance that a person from the Ableton company is reading this? Thanks!

Excellent! Thanks very much. I used the audiotuts guide. Sounds just like what I was looking for, and it's a pretty cool site, too.

Count me in also! We're beginning to get a quorum. Would anyone be interested in starting a SHARE night? It's not exactly the same as playing out in a club for the sweaty masses, but the night is a great way to keep in touch and hear what other people are doing and share yr shit with like-minded (an...

Re: I Want To Create A Synth For Export to Fruitiloops (FL Studi
Hmm. That's unfortunate. I'll probably port samples out as wav files and see if he can plug them into some kind of synth scheme on his end. Or I'll use SynthEdit or SonicBirth - vst and au creation devices. I just found out about these programs this morning!

I Want To Create A Synth For Export to Fruitiloops (FL Studi
Anybody have experience with Fruitiloops (now called FL Studio)? I'm working with a keyboardist and Fruitiloops is the only software that he uses. I want to create a pack of samples and then give them to him so that he can use them as a sampler. (basically I will generate the sounds and he will do t...

Hi. I moved to DC in September 2009. I use Live everyday! Interested in swapping some tracks sometime?
