My Powerbook is not recognising any of my midi devices. So I can use USB on my Powerbook and can use firewire on my G5

Again - apologies if there's been a forum on this already but I'm having probems assigning effects to my midi keyboard For example with Ping Pong delay - I can easily assign the turning on and off button to a knob or fader on my midi controller, however I don't seem to be able to assign the little x...
