I'm a newbie so forgive me if this is a daft question.

I have a vocal line that goes

"You've had your pound of flesh and you got it dirt cheap"

However, "You've" comes in before the start of the bar, "had" is sung on the bar, so if I loop from "You've" it is out of time, if I loop from had ...
