-you can save your projects anywhere. When saving a set the first time Live will ask you where you want to save it. Just choose an appropriate folder on your harddrive

my library path is set in the preferences, but for some very odd reason all my "live sets" get saved in one of my custom folders, not the Sets folder. I dont want to screw anything else up. Should I rename the custom folder to sets and put the other files in the old sets folder, then rename it ...

I have recently been messing around with Lives Macro contols to play intruments. While I was testing out different presets I was also naming some of the macro controls and discoverd something interesting but confusing..


I went from using NI MAssive, and named all 8 macros, a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h ...

this first song is awsome, i love the drums programming. Composition keeps things rolling. I love the lyrics. You could maybe compress alittle more, but other than that, its very nice. ALso maybe add alittle more meat to the drop. Where the bass line comes in. Ill definitely stay tuned.

drop your audio sample in the arrangement view. right click on the wave and click "slice to midi". This creates a new midi track where you can draw in notes to play pieces of the sample you sliced. not just retriggering the beginning of the sample. Choose at least 1/16 resolution.
