So the send dial adds the signal from the return track to a maximum of 50%. How come it doesn't go to 100%, Acting more like a crossfader between the original signal and the wet signal?

When you use a send effect on a return track, how much of the effect is routed back to a track when the send dial is at 100%?

For example; If I put a reverb with a dry/wet setting of 100% on return track A and the go to a normal audio track and crank up the A send dial all the way to 100% I will ...

Um... choose a mono input?

You have to enable your mono inputs in the options -> preferences -> audio -> input config.

Managed to find the solution by myself; jbridge has a setting "called run in existing auxhost". Check it and everything works like a charm .

Seems to be a common problem. Anyone managed to resolve it? I have a pc with a liquid saffire 56 card. Liquid mix 32 hangs on its own firewirecard, which is running in legacy mode. I'm using jbridge.

Think it's supposed to work that way. Live takes over the midi/usb input from the cme when you start it.

Found the answwer to this; set the port type of your midi output to MME instead of directsound.

You'll have to set the correct midi out to "sync" in abletons preferences. Otherwise ableton won't send a sync signal.

In spite of that, my blofeld kinda drifts in timing when I try to sync with live.

i had a brief go this morning and it seemed to work in the end, but i'd need to do more testing to be sure. you have to have remote enabled on the relevant ports.

I think hoffman 2k made a pluggo which could help with this.

it would play a sequence of notes one at a time. I imagine you could take that output and generate the chords based of that, with ableton plugs
