1. My shortcuts are actually automations of several tasks, so the save you loads of time. They are also easier shortcuts, eg alt M for Mixer instead of cmd alt M. But it doesn't just open the mixer, it opens it in Session and Arrange views at the same time. This is great because it avoids the annoy...

How is it flawed? The words daisy chaining comes to mind. Most, if not all TB devices like display or HD enclosures I've seen so far has that option.
..much like I remember it was with firewire in the beginning. We'll probably see a tb hub someday.

It is perfectly usable as an "emergency mic". I always carry my phone with me, and a mikey fits in a pocket somewhere. I've only tried the first gen mikey, and I'm now using a Tascam iM2. I have the same feeling with the Tascam though. Great to have in my pocket for those "emergency" situations wher...

use the Set Locators by Regions command found in the region menu

I've been using the Zoom H4, and lately an iPhone 3g with FiRe/Mikey
both gives good results.
