Re: Can I organize Max Devices?

Thanks, I created a series of sub folder in places and then drag and dropped all my m4l devices in there, everything is organized nicely now, but they should really allow folders directly in the m4l folder.

Can I organize Max Devices?

I'm wanting to completely re organize my m4l library into my own categories, like synth, drums, distortions, modulators, midi devices etc... I can't figure out how to create folders and move items around in the max browser. is this possible or are we just stuck with one giant list of everything in t...

Re: Live as a ReWire Device and Midi CC's?

Update to my question: I found that if I route the midi CC's out of the ReWire Host (Digital Performer 9.5.2) using the iac bus driver then the midi maps in ableton respond properly and everything works. but I still can't route midi CC data from digital performer into live directly through the rewir...

I just can't get a midi CC assigned control in live to respond to midi CC messages coming in from digital performer. is says here that... Note: ln Live 9 and earlier,...

Max LFO Automation capture?

How do I capture the modulation output of a max4live LFO as automation output. I have a max lfo chain modulating an envelope decay in wavetable and I want to capture the LFO output as modulation in the arranger view. LFO 1 goes to the envelope decay, while LFO 2 goes to the phase of LFO 1 creating a...

Re: Getting midi out from a channel other than 1?

...i also don't have any problems with channel separation BUT: when i have selected e.g. midi channel 4 for one track i'm not able to play the instrument on this channel with my push... that's not what we're talking about, If you load a vst that offers midi output, you can only capture midi from ch...

Selectable channels for VST midi output please...

I need to be able to select a midi channel for vst midi output. I have a set of sequencers that I built in reaktor, there are multiple sequencers running together in an ensemble. Seq 1 outputs midi on channel 1 and sequencer 2 out puts midi on channel 2. as it is now live can only take midi output f...

Getting midi out from a channel other than 1?

is there a way to get midi out from a vst on a channel other than 1? I'm programming this instrument in reaktor and I've set it up so that the sequencer outputs note data on channel 1 for the sequencer itself. on channel 2 it outputs clock sync midi notes to synchronize other instruments with itself...

Re: A new vst instrument for scratching

my thoughts on the designs: the first design looks like Scratch Master Pro: Freddy Krueger's Christmas Edition. the layout of the new design isn't particularly good either; it looks amateur. spacing of elements is poor and the font is too chunky for the job (mixing of font sizes needs to be done mo...

Re: A new vst instrument for scratching

Thanks to everyone here for all their help over the years. Michael. Thanks for making this. :D I'm glad you like it. It seems to me that a lot of people are interested in this instrument but they dislike the user interface, so we're now working with a great designer on getting a new and improved UI...

Re: A new vst instrument for scratching

Alright, let me know which color scheme looks the best to you. The left is the standard color of the controls and the right is what color they turn when you trigger a command. let me know what you like the most, 1-5 from the top down. A lot of people said that they like the instrument but hate the i...
