Put your attention to it and you get so much out of it, the devil is in the details.

Re: Equivalent(or close) of Rough Trade Record Store in Berlin?
In any cue in front of any club, talk more quiet than the natives, otherwise the bouncers can spot you from a mile away. Especially don't say stuff like "OH I'M SORRY, AM I LOUD?" Space Hall is quite versatile concerning the scope of styles in the shop. But if you like Rough Trade, why don...

Re: For those who say bezier curves aint cool VIDEO !
It seems they need to add and extra track to use the curves. That's a major drag and the main reason I wouldn't like it.
If Ableton implements the 'LFO in automation' editing, that would be way cool. (Just not on an extra track, please)

I say buy the noise making tool first. Sequencing can be done in various ways, the synth sounds will be unique.

Tascam 424MKIII Portastudio
Tascam 202mkV Dual Casette Deck
I wouldn't get a Reel to Reel, personally
If you want lo-fi, or just plain dirty, I can recommend picking up a Marschall MS-2 Mini Amp or something similar.

Re: Sine wave from Analog synth has extra partials?
Please explain how finding out if a sine has extra partials could in any way improve your production. The theme of a creative work can be (pseudo-)scientific. This kind improvement might not be technical, but is valuable. My guess is that the imperfect sine in Analog is by design, for reasons menti...

Re: Last night I realized I HATE djing.
I love playing other people's music, it's a like a treat for me. A well-deserved break from my own music and the daily struggle it usually involves. Just getting to kick back and enjoy the process of manipulating great sounding music without the pressure of having to always create it first. Very ca...

The thing that is off-putting is that it's rarely in the right key

OK, thanks that's a solution.
I was focussing on the "play user interface sound effects" button that was turned off, I failed to look approximately 30 pixels above it. Much obliged.
