tapco s8 sound problems

Hi guys, let me know if you can direct me to a solution here. My right tapco s8 (monitor speaker) is rumbling randomly. Almost like from time to time the bigger cone can't handle bass sounds, like the signal is "hot". This is only happening on the right speaker. I've tried changing the cab...

@ DJDJ, as you do know them, do you know what they are using for their glitch sounds? I find that Artillery2 get some pretty similar results, but I'm sure they are using maybe this and other plugs for glitchery. If anyone knows... please share. I also find the sounds of Josh Mayer (aka Ooah) are ver...

automation of look points through markers (telefon tel aviv)

guys, I just saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpeVc0rG5v4 with the guys from telefon tel aviv, and was intrigued by minute 2:13, where he starts explaining about how you can move the loop points through the sample cutting. Sounds interesting. Is there a tutorial about this anywhere here...

On the mac there's a program called soundflower which you can select as the os's output, then select the corresponding input within ableton. Not sure if it's available on the PC too, if not i'm sure that there is something similar which I use to use. Thanks for the info, and yes, I just found an eq...

it does, but I guess I'll stick with the way I was doing this before with Renoise.

Renoise has that functionality, it can record incoming audio from your sound card straight into its sampler. I though Ableton would allow this to be done in a similar fashion.

Thx for the help.

recording output from a media player into ableton

hi all,

for sampling purpose, I'd like to record some dialog from a dvd using windows media player (or whatever) into Ableton.

How can I go about doing that? My sound card is a M-Audio Delta 44.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

AVB Tracks

Hi guys, check some of my tracks out at http://myspace.com/avbbrazil and, after a long time out of the scene, I'm back, and a new track called "Spanish Nights" is to come out soon (all Ableton work).

Peace out.

You monitors will probably sound great with a bit of hi-lo smily-face EQing. Be careful with the volume, though. I actually do it the other way around, using the RCF 310As for high-volume studio monitoring, and the little M-Audios for low-volume. I find it really good for guesstimating what the tra...

You may want to consider a decent set of studio monitors. That would be good enough for a background DJ set at a cafe... then you can set them up at home and use them all the time in your set up. thanks guys! I guess I could use my pair of Tapco S8. I wouldn't spend anything and it would work just ...

DJing and PA speakers

I’m gonna be DJing (for the first time ever 8) ) at my girlfriend’s little art show in July, and I believe I have everything – computer, midi controllers, Ableton and good tracks to rock the party – but don't have a key component: PA speakers. Please suggest me the best PA speakers around $400 or $5...
