Just another note about this:
If I reload this set in Live5, then save it in Live 5 format, then re-load again in Live 5 it still takes forever every single time I load the set.
IT seems like every single time I load this set it is re-analyzing the files or something. Why is it doing this?

Loading huge set takes forever in Live 5.0.3b6 vs Live 4.1.4
I recorded a full jam using Live 4.1.4 in my studio that contains a bunch of huge wav files (about 1GB). When I reload this set again in Live 4 it loads immediately but everytime I open it in Live 5.0.3b6 it takes forever to load all the samples. When this happens, if you look at each clip in clip v...

You know what's cool? That you CAN record with SIR in a return track now, just don't send the instrument you're recording to it, or there will be a massive delay. But everyhting else sounds normal, because of PDC, and after you record - all the notes will be in the right place because of the new Be...

Here's a bump for this one since we are in another beta test. I understand this issue might be a bit tougher to fix but with the latest beta it's still a big issue. When cutting, dragging and duplicating a large number of clips in arrange view it is still incredibly slow. As I speak I'm still waitin...

The only good I see that has come from the slow performance in LIVE 5 is that it's forced me to make simpler tracks! Not all bad for me since I tend to put way too many layers and use way too many VSTs for no good reason But yeah, I couldn't agree more with supster and I'm not even having huge...

I add my vote to this one, it's HUGE. I have posted threads in the past about this and am surprised by the lack of response. See this thread http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24135 Mapping MIDI controls is a daily chore for me in LIVE that wastes my time and the workaround of using Live s...

yes the arrange view issues are ridiculous... it's pretty much unusable for complex projects even with a workhorse machine I have found the best work around is to not move large amounts of clips at once since this is when it gets really bad. for example, if you are a copying a 2 minute section that ...

It wouldn't be so bad if there was a keyboard shortcut to close the browser! I just discovered you can actually access the presets by pressing ENTER on your keyboard if the effect is selected instead of using the mouse to click on the browse presets button... Then you can the use arrow keys to selec...

You CAN record automation into session clips right now, just only with controls that have NOT been mapped to anything. This is the most strange contradiction in all of Ableton Live. So yeah, go ahead and record all the automations you want in session clips just make sure that CC control is not mappe...

I think the idea of the orange dot is to think of it as a relative OFFSET in a 1 bar area. It's not really designed to physically nudge the start marker long distances only to offset the clip with relation to the 1st beat of every bar. Makes sense to me, but I see what you mean... unfortunately ther...

complex warp bug (5.0.1 to L5.0.2b8)
Okay I've been getting this bug for a while now (ever since live 5 beta testing) and never heard of it being fixed or reported.... It seems that after a while sometimes the complex warp mode starts acting really weird. For instance, just now I had a set open and dropped in a drum loop, put it into c...
