Re: New Artist Story: Diplo
What other Ableton artists would you like to read about? Best, Jesse Deadbeat Daedelus (I think he uses live) John Tejada Jan Jelinek Pole (again, I think he uses live)[/quote] I'm not sure about in the studio but when playing out live Daedelus uses mlr with his proto-100h not ableton Live. cheers.

Problem - I want to use livecut or beatrepeat on a channel with In selected on the monitor because I want a channel I can just play into and effect without recording, but each time I place Livecut in the chain the channel stops outputing sound even though th...

can you help me with my new (ripped off) idea?
Hi, After seeing Tehn and Daedelus using the Monome (or "the Box") http://monome.org/index.php?m=0010 I saw that I would be able to do the same thing using Live (I'm still using 5.01) and an LX-1. I thought I could do this using the Session View and putting repeated instances of the same c...

Midi latency worry
Hi guys, I'm planning to buy a doepfer pocketC and a Faderfox LX-1 to control Live while peforming, but since I've only got one midi-in on my sound card I'm gunna have to run one thru another then into the soundcard. Will there be a noticable lag? I know there shouldn't be but I thought I'd better a...

Band
Hi everyone, All this Kid Beyond/Jamie Lidell/stuff I've been doing which i thought was original but was really just the same as Kid Beyond and Jamie Lidell has made me want to try and start a band again. Not really sure what format or anything yet. I'm only 17 (18 in a month and a bit) and live in ...

Upgrade worry
Sorry if this sounds stupid or has been discussed before but i couldn't find it. I'm too young to own a credit card yet I want to upgrade Live 5, is it possible to use my dad's card, even though the serial number is registered to me? Or should I just put his details into the info part of the upgrade...

ok mate - live is probably the easiest of the seqencers to pick up and play with. IMO of course. I'm 17 and have been making music in the same vain as you've described above for a couple of years now. I started on hardware after getting some bad advice but soon realised the power/potential computer ...

thank you
thanks for your help.
I've looked at the page and followed all the steps to get rid of svchost.exe yet when I get to where it should be it's not there. Could it be hiding under another name?
thanks again
Michael

Windows infection help (slightly OT)
Hi, When I first got my music laptop I promised myself I would't ever put it on the internet, but due to some unfourtuate/stupid circumstances I recently had to- and am now paying the price. My computer is now infected with the W32.Jeffo virus which basicly loads up svchost.exe which then continousl...
