i actually want a reverse of that... going back to opening one audio and one midi track. reinstall does not reset it.. i bet there's a file to delete somewhere...

in other news... sorry .lm. i dont think your suggestion of one rack with multiple chains works in the same way an effects rack does. drum racks don't have the ruler as far as i can see. but, i've been wrong once, so...

if i understand that right... you can have up to 128 kick drums assigned to pad C1? And you can use the rack ruler toggle your way through them all? Interesting. I'll see how that works. I wonder how the CPU likes all those racks.

Then, I added serveral midi Pitch effects at +12, +12, +24, +36, -36 in that rack, whatever combinations to cover all ten octaves.
