http://www.ableton.com/de/pages/faq/options_text ------ "EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins" This option solves a problem with certain VST Plugins (such as NI's Reaktor), where keyboard data does not reach the plugin. Supported since: 7.0.2b3 Note: PC ONLY! Example: -_EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins ------

Re: SOUND ENGINE BUGS ???

Hi Guys! And thanks, catsandwich. In a nutshell, this is more or less it. But from time to time it may make sense to invest a view minutes and restate the usual... Here we go! Let's try to keep the thread on topic and also try not to get carried away too much emotionally. The subject is "sound engin...

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL

nah, not necessary... maybe just a bit less emotions and aggression when it comes to such topics... we folks here at ableton also still use live just as you all do and if there are shortcomings, then you can be 99,9% sure that we know of them and that they bother us, too. maybe even more, as we're s...

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL

Hi Folks, just wanted to chime in and confirm a few things, so you don't have to waste too much studio time discussing technical speculations or checking test scenarios to find out what exactly happens in Live and what not - you're right in stating that it is our job to explain this! In short: Live'...

Wooohoo! Guys! What's up with you? I'm a bit busy, but i just want to throw in a few lines here: To me personally it looks like the loss of humor is not really on the side of the forum host... Seriously, who IS this guy and why is he out to destroy our Lounge? Uhm, whose Lounge? Come on, Zebra, hone...

Re: Really? APC20 accesses 125 scenes only?

I don't know how it works with the APC-20, but with the APC-40 when one holds the Shift button to enter Session Overview, the Scene Launch buttons allow access to 125 scenes, without scrolling. That's perfectly right and the APC 20 works exactly the same. Beyond that, you have to scroll. Cheers, Dom

Angstrom and Headrick: Is Quicktime installed on your machines or does Live decode using the DirectX extensions?

#1thelark: If you got a crash, then the problem is not really similar.

Re: Question for ableton staff

you need to ban me from the forum if you want me to stop attacking dennis agressively in person whenever i possibly can, unless he is staying the fuck away from the forum (i don't care what he is contributing to ableton in the background) and especially me. get someone else to moderate the forum or...

Re: Question for ableton staff

Guys, sorry to interrupt - but i think this thread is heading off into a whole wrong direction. What do we have here? Rave asked a question. And while the forum regulars, knowing the forum and its topics as well as Rave as a steady contributor to this community for the past couple of years, this ini...

Re: TeeBee (featured in Retro Synths) vs. Audiorealism Bassline

If I recall correctly, Josh Wink used the MC-202 to create the acid sounds in that track. Nah, this is some kind of urban legend after a misquote from an old interview Josh gave - i don't remember were, have to ask again. But the hsoc line is a 303 line. But as we are at it: d16 are just working on...

Re: Commit Groove button grey (greyed out)

Did you apply a groove from the groove browser or only change the warp markers?
Commit groove only becomes active if you apply a groove to the clip.

Re: Can't load live set made with 30-day license

Your Live 8 Suite should just load the set without problems, the EDU pricing does not make a technical difference.
Can you send the set to support@ableton.com (only the .als without samples) for investigation?

Thanks,
Dom

Re: 8.1.4 + Novation Nocturn Automation Problems

Just did a quick test and midi recording seems to work just fine.
Does it only happen with Automap?
Can you send us a step by step description for us to reproduce the problem and tell us what kind of system you're using?

Thanks,
Dom
