Re: Live doesn't "see" .asd-files on external harddrive
Actually, I don't have write-priviliges when connecting the harddrive to a Mac, so it looks like you're right. I'll investigate further. Thanks!

Re: Live doesn't "see" .asd-files on external harddrive
Oh - yes, of course. That is the whole point - I've spend countless hours doing that as a novice Ableton 8-userinvol wrote:What I mean by not working is this - did you use the Save button in Clip View after Warping them? Or are they just the initial analysis with the waveform overview?

Re: Live doesn't "see" .asd-files on external harddrive
Thank you both for your replies.
I'll try the disc utility.
Well, I think it is not working, as it is not working. the .asd-files are right beside the .mp3-file, so it should read them. The .asd-files were created on another computer and then transferred to the external HDD.

Live doesn't "see" .asd-files on external harddrive
Hey guys,
Have you ever experienced this issue? The .asd-files are located in the same folder as the .mp3's and have the same name - though Live doesn't seem to see them?

I had exactly the same problem - though with other 3rd party plugins, but your advice worked like a charm, ShelLuser. Thanks a bunch!

Re: Audio artifacts at 30% CPU load
Well, a fresh install of Windows 7 64-bit surely hasn't help. Everytime I start Ableton 8.2.2, Windows crashes with a Blue Screen of Death. This is really getting unbareble! EDIT: Looks like it wasn't Ableton's fault as much as Native Instruments'. Crashes only occur with Audio 4 DJ and not with my ...

Re: Audio artifacts at 30% CPU load
Don't know if it helps, but I have a 4gb Dual core laptop, and I noticed a big improvement in the amount of artifacts when I wiped everything recently and upgraded from Vista (32) to 7 (64). More than likely it was the change away from crappy Vista, as opposed to wiping all my stuff, because I neve...

Re: Audio artifacts at 30% CPU load
check yr latency settings for yr soundcard? anything else running on the PC at the same time using lots of memory? The latency is at around 26 ms. with 440 samples. I have a EMU 0202 USB 2.0-soundcard. And I have no other processes running in the background taking up memory. Besides, I have 4 gb, a...

Audio artifacts at 30% CPU load
Hi guys, I'm just wondering if there is something wrong with the setup of my PC or the preferences of Live, because I experience audio artifacts with only a 30% CPU load, which I find kind of odd. I thought artifacts occured at much higher loads? My CPU should be able too handle a Sylenth 1, three D...

Re: The Maschine & Ableton Love Thread ;) [upon user request]
This sounds more like a hardware issue. I'd contact NI tech support and tell them about it! BTW, I'm currently working on a Ableton Live set that makes it easy to play chords & inversions of one scale on the Maschine. What it basically does (please correct me if I say something wrong, I actuall...

Re: Very low levels recording ASIO
I'm posting this because I had the same problem, and managed to solve it by pure chance. I have the above mentioned EMU 0202, and I tried to record data in Ableton using it. I also experienced very low recording levels, and tried to find the answer in this forum, as well as in EMU support forums, a...

Re: Very low levels recording ASIO
Did you manage to find a solution? I have the same problem with the EMU 0202 USB when recording from my Moog Little Phatty. The input is very low and only the gain in the Utility Tool can increase the volume - however, the dynamics of the Little Phatty are clearly missing when compared to direct mon...

Multisample instruments; Simpler vs. Sampler
Dear all, I'm just wondering whether or not I should buy sample packs that include multisampled instruments, as I only own Ableton Live 8 and not Suite, so I only have Simpler and no Sampler. I know that Sampler supports multisampled instruments and that you can manually setup multisampled instrumen...
