Has anyone tried the Crane Stand? It's not cheap but the design seems well thought out.

Re: Idea - DJs - Why don't we share our .asd files?

An .asd file is a powerful tool but...

I hate warping acapella's, tracks that were recorded live and have no quantization, or tracks that change tempo wildly. If I could get nice tight acapellas or some quantized Stevie Wonder or some Dazz Band, count me in.

Re:

^ | why don't you just pay monkey in your closet for sets......then push the spacebar and stare at all the speaker tweaking 16 year olds dancing because of the drugs and not your shitty set you paid for. No one will ever know......except the REAL Heads who are leaving the dance floor because the se...

Actually, there were some phone numbers written on the white board that I didn't think I should post on the internet so I just blurred them out. But thanks. :)

Hmmm...

Still no luck, but thank you for trying. I really appreciate your insight. I am getting some random mappings to occur but they don't seem to correspond to the same CCs as my controller is sending.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my question. I tried using a shorter Midi Cable (6') but that didn't seem to help. I tried routing the Midi Cable through different Midi Ports as well: sound card, different controllers, Midi to USB box. Still no luck. Thanks again for the advice...

2 laptops, 1 controller

Hi, I have my 2 laptops synchronized via Midi. The Master controls the Slave perfectly. But, I would like to be able to use my midi controller that is connected to the Master to also control the Slave. I have been trying to find a way to map the Master's controller to the Slave but I'm not having an...

There are now a number of online music sellers offering pre warped tracks for Ableton, so there must be some demand. I think if people were forced to state the track's length (in time) when they upload an ASD, it might work. Presumably other DJing apps like Traktor & Deckadance have similair me...
