Re: iTunes m4p support in Live?!?

the only workaround I know is to Audio Hijack Pro them into an .aiff file, thus making them non-protected files anym /s I should clear this up: recording something into Audio Hijack Pro happens in real time, which just takes longer than simply converting one file type to another file type. hope tha...

Why do I get the feeling that you're blaming Ableton when it's Apple that are using a one-of-a-kind-non-standard-protected file format? -Mikael you're getting the wrong feeling, 'cause I'm not blaming anyone. I'm just trying to see if there was a quicker workaround because I was surprised to come u...

iTunes m4p support in Live?!?

I bought some tracks from the itunes music store and was irritated to find out that the "protected" m4p files do not open in Live. You can not convert these types of files at all, and the only workaround I know is to Audio Hijack Pro them into an .aiff file, thus making them non-protected ...

I sell music software in a small music shop in Seattle, (not Guitar Center), make 12.80 an hour, 31 years old. I dig it, and Live is something I get to show off to people quite regularly. I also dj occasionally, but it's difficult to make any money in Seattle these days doing that, it's mostly a lab...

Re: Live 5 as Slave to Hardware is SLOPPY

I was slaving Live 4 to a Korg EM-1, and was able to adjust the timing when it ever got sloppy, which rarely happened. Now that I'm using Live 5 however, the timing is way off, and is not adjustable. What the hell happened??? I kept Live 4 on my system for a while, but then all my projects slowly b...

just in case you missed it: How To Use Soundflower Soundflower presents itself as one of two audio devices (2ch / 16ch). The 2-channel device is sufficient for most situations. To send the output of one application to another, select Soundflower as the output device in the first application and Sou...

CRASH CRASH CRASH

Selecting Soundflower (2 Ch) does nothing in Live at all, and selecting Soundflower (16 Ch) as the inputs and outputs in Live Crashes Live every time. I officially give up here and now. Don't bother replying on this thread anymore, because I say F*CK Soundflower. I'll just continue to use Audio Hija...

Soundflower does not pull up as an option as an input in Live for me, and I do have it installed. The options are: Reason, Resampling, A Return, B Return. I've even got Soundflower selected in Live's preferences as the Default input, and Soundflower selected as OS X's default Input. What the hell am...
