seems like a weird strategy having to use a hack to use them together in harmony , these are after all both branded by ableton and designed to work with it , even if they are manufactured by two different companies.

i can't select both? :( why both? because it would be great, and because it was discussed enough times, and hinted from ableton that they do have plans for it, it just takes some time. Where was that hinted by Ableton ? I don't think there will ever be a runtime , because most users just wan't to p...

Apples "AUPeakLimiter" , should be in the audio units folder pre-installed and should work for basic limiting.
