yes, exactly, a commercial cd type track selection,,,,,,,,and i will check out getting cd architect...............
i just cant believe ableton doesnt offer that as an option, .i mean,its supposed to be dj friendly,,,,,,,,and what dj doesnt want to split their super long mixes into tracks for cd's ...

hey guys, long time dj here, but new to ableton

im using m-audio 1814, firewired into winxp, 512ram, 1.8 gig,
anyway,
i record my dj sets into ableton, and have no problems with anything, and i can render and burn whole hour long sets on cd,,,,but.
i want to take my hour mix and cut it into tracks ...

HEY, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT........when i rendered to disc and tried to burn or play it, it gave me codec errors,,,,,,,,,,heres what i found to fix it,
in your preferences on rendering,,,,,,,,use the 16 bit, not 24 bit, so it renders a 16 bit wav. file, and then everything works fine ...

dang, theres got to be a way to do it in live isnt there?.......

i have a few one hour long mixes ive recorded into ableton 4.0, and i have no problem rendering to disc to make hour long demo mixes, BUT,
