I just pulled the trigger on a Push pre-order.

Have been thinking long and hard about it, but I can realistically see Push replacing a few bits of kit in my studio.

I would say most of the popular (chart successful) rappers, both male or female, could not freestyle to save their lives.

Hell, these days even battles aren't freestyled. It's all pre-written stuff.

But I digress. Forgot about mentioning Rah Digga. She was/is raw.

There was a dope British MC, back in the day called Wildflower, check out Skitz "Twighlight Of The Gods" and The Herbaliser "Good Girl Gone Bad", not sure what she is upto these days.

I just dragged it into Ableton and it worked fine? You could try copy and pasting it into the library folder on your hard drive instead of drag & drop.

Last week I went through my extensive break collection and picked out "Impeach The President" for some chopping. After getting my drum hits I dragged them into an instance of Drum Racks and then dragged this into the "Defaults" folder.

This is my first completed Ableton track. I'm ashamed to say that when I first got Live I really did'nt realise what it could do for me and cast it aside. The last few weeks though I've got back onto it and I have to say, fantastic tool for creating hip hop.

Just to bump this, there is a video on youtube by Dubspot, on how to do dubstep bass using the simpler and a sine-wave sample. Good alternative and you can use anything in the simpler to get the bass sound.
