i've seen these guys a lot, i mean A LOT, and i wish i could see them more. and my experiences with them personally have been always positive, so it's nice to see some "good guys" do well for themselves.

well, after fooling with this for most of the day, i decided to give up for the night and do some other maintenance i had been putting off. one of those tasks required a restart of the computer, and lo and behold, when the machine restarted, the found new hardware wizard came up and the drivers ...

i'm on xp too. what driver are you using? i can't find my original cd, and the only driver i could find was on the m-audio website, a generic one for just about everything on the site.

i wonder if my driver installation didn't take? i checked for that already, and in the device manager properties ...

i'm trying to re-integrate my uc-16 controller after years of absence, but i'm not having any luck getting live to recognize it at all. the drivers appear to be installed correctly, but the unit doesn't show up in the list of avilable devices under wither input or output on the midi prefences ...

nevermind, i just found some instructions in the FAQ's about how to recover from a corrupted library and used that. a complete uninstall and re-install.
