RE: Scrubbing preview in browser

A DJ should know ALL their tracks inside and out. They should know who produced it too, hell they should even know who was in the studio car parka t the moment the master was cut!

Bug powder dust by Bomb the Bass / Justin Warfield

This was the one that still sticks, irresistible bass, clever lyrics, mental scratching...big beat before the phrase was coined!

As everyone else is naming others,

Inspection by Leftfield

and

Valley of the shadows by Origin Unknown.

PD is the way to go, it's great, and free too!

Generally few problems, just niggles. (Like the 'orange dot' situation !?!?!?) Studio - P4 2.4 GHZ 512MBRAM 7200RPM disk, Marian Marc A, 01V and synths/samples/soundmodules. I use few vsts (in fact, none now really having bought operator), only what Live ships with, which is enough choice for me at ...

PD PD PD!

PureData is great!

If you can't afford MAX/MSP, Jmax is a Java supporting version and its free!

This should be achievable in PD as more or less anything is. If I had time, I'd volunteer, but already have several projects on in PD as it is.

Hey dude, MIDI doesn't work on voltage as such, it uses a system called 'current loop'. Under nominal conditions a current of 20mA will flow through the MIDI circuit, when data is transmitted, a '1' is represented as a change of state from current being present to no current flowing (effectively, a ...

Question: How to de-value Ableton Live? Answer: A 'DJ Version' The beauty of this software (and what attracted me to it) is the way in which you can take ideas from the studio straight into the DJ booth without even having to consolidate them. Prior to version 3, I used to take out an RM1X and an ES...

This all kinda makes me wonder about bootlegs too, I'm pretty sure all those booty tracks it is possible to pick up on white have not been licenced. This is an immeasurable task, regulation of all aspects of technological music performance, be it cut ups, layering acapellas, phrase sampling, or othe...

This is so full of grey areas. What about mix cd's, downloadable mixes etc? What about all those DJ's burning off CDR's. Will there be a 'CDJ licence' anytime soon?? I can see the benefit of such a scheme if it helps crack down on your local pub jock getting paid for Limewiring everything, but this ...
