....I found through trial and error is to turn all the sends up half way on the tracks I'm using and turn the output on the sends track to channels 3&4 of my Maya. It's not perfect but it's a step closer! Any advances?

I totally agree with what montrealbreaks is saying. I come from a hardware background where a new piece of kit would come along once a year (If I was lucky!). That intensive usage not only teaches you how to create the sound you want straight away but also how to get a whole other palette of sounds....

Sorry to bring this one up again but can you monitor the Master Channel? I can monitor the channel that's playing through the Master and the channel I'm cueing at the same time but only if I change the output routing on the cued channel to outputs 3&4 the Maya and move the crossfader to halfway....

i just have a tingling feeling that this is the case. the last time there was such absence from ableton folks on here was when they were all too busy workin on live 4 just before release. It occured to me shortly after I first heard about Live that the same principle could be applied to visuals ie....

doh - i misconstrued. i thought the idea was to only exchange the .asds. i've exchanged projects with others as well, with waves & asds with no problem. i think it would be really useful to be able to share .asd only, which would require minimal server load. problem would be making sure the wav...

I was thinking maybe through iChat?? I've heard there aren't any problems using asd's across platforms but don't know if PC users on AIM can exchange files?? Might not want to shout about it if anyone finds somewhere. Big brother's always watching!

Any forums where hard working Live useres can exchange warped files?
