stutter

Couldn't you split part of the clip (you're millisecond portion) and then use follow actions (like on page 99 of the manual?)
That would be less work than a recurrent cut and paste, no?
Did I misunderstand the question?

interruption

Interruptions with kids. Not that I blame them. I mean they're really cute, but why does my 1-year-old son have to be pulling at wires all the time and getting into my CD collection? It is hard to get anything done, and then my studio does not allow me to crank things up when I do have time. I have ...

PM

I have a Compaq Presario X1000. I considered a Dell, but the price was prohibitive. I've been able to run games with high intensity graphics outside of the recommended specificications with no slowdown. (64MB video ram, when I only have 32MB) I don't get it. No time for games now. Too busy with the ...

Pentium M

I have a 1.4MHz Pentium M with 512MB RAM. The thing hardly makes a sound. I compare this with my 2.4MHz Toshiba, which is not nearly as quick and runs a loud fan when active. They tend to run quieter and seem to generate less heat. I have used Live and Reason together without slowdown. I did the CPU...

samples

You will get many more samples when you get the boxed version. I downloaded and then found the samples on one of the CD's when I got the boxed version. I think I added them by just shifting them over to my hard drive.

M-Audio

I use O2 and have not had difficulty. Can't give you any advice other than I have found M-Audio tech support to be pretty good. I see the number listed below in this forum. They should be able to walk you through.

a question without judgment

No judgment was meant. I happen to love Live and think it is a great program. I have Reason 2.5 and have been impressed. My question merely has to do with my own ignorance about the differences.

reason

I am still in my learning days with these programs. Someone please tell me what would Live Operator give me that I don't already have with Reason 2.5? I don't seen any reason to buy Operator other than that it is within the Live program and thus no rewiring has to be done.

reason to buy?

Hoffman, you understand Operator well. What would Operator give me that I don't already have in Reason 2.5?
