I'm pretty sure we're all witnesses of the next release of Ableton Live 8.5, isn't it ?

Re: Max 4 Live runtime: For your advantage (Ableton/Max) & mine
If you have enough time to post on this forum and make music, you have plenty of time to learn and make devices too, any rebuttle would be a misunderstanding of ones own confusion or lazyness. I think this sentence isn't so mean as it seems, don't you think ? Yes, I prefer making music, using devic...

Re: Max 4 Live runtime: For your advantage (Ableton/Max) & mine
Ok, I'm sorry : it's Novation the problem, neither Ableton. So what ? In one hand, I must spit out an entire code of my own to make this controller much involved into performance, rather than just a global utility besides other devices ? On the other hand, I'm not really enthusiast with Novation com...

Re: Max 4 Live runtime: For your advantage (Ableton/Max) & mine
Hi there, It's seems to be a huge debate here about what's going on about Max and Live ! From my point of view, I'm a bit disappointed again with Ableton. Let me explain : I use Live since the 3rd version and I usually update my program for each improvement... Ok fine ! Then, I brought a Novation La...

Re: Is Ableton Live 8 will running well with Snow Leopard ?
Ok, Thank you guys, especially GJM. As I read the thread, it seems officially that Ableton Live 8 does NOT working with Snow Leopard and we have to wait if we wanted to upgrade our system. But nothing about deadlines ??? I hope that it's gonna be 64-bits enabled, and that some realtime audio treatme...

Is Ableton Live 8 will running well with Snow Leopard ?
Hi, It seems that most Mac users will be soon upgrade their system to the new version of Snow Leopard (10.6). It's officially announced for this friday ! And the upgrade is the cheapest one : only 29 € for 64-bits system upgrade !!! See : http://www.apple.com/macosx/ But... Here is my question : is ...

On my side..
I tried different kind of controllers since Live 3 ! The first one was a Digidesign R1 MIDI controller, without any possibility of MIDI assignement (only on Channel 1, every knobs are assigned on the basic MIDI implementation chart) : it was great because the faders were 100 mm long and it's rock-so...

Sorry...
I've tested your functions as descrbed in arrange view (and I discover it : fantastic !) but no crashes obviously... I'm testing it on MacBook Pro 2.33 Ghz / 3 Go RAM / 200 Go HD (7200 RPM) and a MOTU 828 MKII... Are you trying this on a special features, like big VST or anything like Max/MSP plugin...

O man !
God ! That's so good... Live 8 is on starters today. I hope it will be released soon. BUT... Still not OSC system included in it (and why not ?) and it's pretty hard to buy an update for at least 150 € ! I hope that MAX 5 is included in it... Any calendar informations about releases, especially for ...

Great !
It seems to be serious for Alphakanal.
This plugin is a kind of proud for Mac users, as people's working on windows are hungry not to be included !
One day, I hope BlueGlitch will be released on mac !...

OSC : for God' sake !
Hi, It seems that OSC (Open Sound Control ?) is going to be the next fine level to control DAWs and controler. Even better than MIDI. So why not implementing this on the next update, as Live 7.1 for example ? Ah ! And also a decent delay (like Tape delay) and surround interfaces/modules ? What happe...

I must admit that...
Hi, For the last topic, I had he same problem : Each time I turn on my MPD24, and get my first preset (called 'impulse', strange isn't it ?), it turns the transports' buttons into MMC, not in CTRL. And then I find it out myself randomly : - Load your usual preset (or 'live' preset by default) - go i...

Right !
Hi ! Many thanks for Gnuus' advice. I've done it and LIVE 7 seems to catch MIDI CC from the MPD24 ! I've set it to the transports' buttons of LIVE and save it as default preset. But, despite this, it seems that my older live's files didn't take this preset in it. But it's not so difficult to re-assi...
