So, If you trigger the same redrum from reasons sequencer, will you get the velocity to work?

I dont use reason but from what i understand your using the clip envelopes velocity, you should use the velocity stalks in the piano roll to mess with velocity.

But yeah, IMOP trying to replicate songs or sounds, is a good way to learn how to synthesize or create sounds and learn production techniques...

That would be really cool to be able to do with drum racks. Ive been hearing some really good things about battery, maybe its time i check out the demo.

I have their lounge and chillout collection. Definately worth the money. Good selection of sounds too.

Oh sorry. Never used battery, cool sounding feature though. One thing yyou can do with drum racks is move the sample to a different cell as you have 128 of them, then keep dragging in the new samples while midi seq is playing. Finally if you dont like any of them drag the original back to that cell.

So do multi-output instruments send all their outputs to one audio track when nested within a rack?

You can grab the audio from any output from any racked instrument from another audio track. You have been able to do this since racks were introduced in Live 6.

Youu know that if you have the headphone icon engaged in the browser that you can arrow down and preview each sample, right. Is this not what you mean? If you enter that sample, then you hot swap it again it will take yu right back to that sample.
