all of arturia's products are top notch. i have heard some say that G-Media's Minimonsta is better, but can't vouch for that. Controller wise - you can't do better than Novation's Remote 25 SL - the ableton Live automap firmware upgrade makes it a joy to use with any vst inc the Minimoog V. go check...

the thread isn't about 'mixing' in that sense though is it? perhaps I have taken it wrongly - but I presumed we are talking about 'mixing down' a track - not dj mixing between 2 records. for the record - I do not believe you can properly mix a track in headphones. period. totally different frequency...

you cant mix with headphones (well not very well) i do use Bluesky Monitors in the studio and generally strike a balance to get the best results... so you see..its all personal preferance.. but you need good headphones!!!! how do u find those bluesky's? the prodesk or media desk u have? considering...

have no idea where that comes from - have owned 2 m-audio interfaces (pci AP 2496 and FW AP) and have had nothing but great results.
