2 KRK ROKIT RP5s + RP10s Sub OR 2 KRK ROKIT RP8s

I think I'm narrowing down options for a cheapish monitoring package. Just wondering what all your thoughts are on either 2 RP5s with the RP10s sub or just 2 RP8s. It's about the same price for either setup. I do want to be able to get the lowest freqs I can, but don't want to lose midrange quality/...

Presonus Drivers? website file is corrupted!

Hi

Does anyone have the latest drivers for the firebox they could send me? The archive on the website is corrupted. Looks like they just updated their website so it must have got screwed up during the upgrade.

Thanks

ASIO4ALL works with my ECHO I/O

I was posed with the same question. I chose the IO.

Here's my working Setup

Toshiba P15-S479
ECHO IO (main in/out)
Internal card is a 16 bit AC97 card (monitor)
ASIO4ALL 2.6

Latency @ 5ms

I think as long as your laptop sound card isn't completely crap It will work.

Good Luck!

It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004) Seen it?

I know this isn't a film discussion site, but the film is music/producer/DJ related, and funny as hell. Just for fun, have you seen this film, and what are your thoughts. I love these types of mocumentary films. It's a very interesting perspective for movie making. If you haven't seen it here's the ...

True you don't need it, but you won't get the extra quality without it. Take for example "Frostbyte groove lounge" on overexposure.fm. If you don't have a MP3Pro Decoder CODEC it sounds like crap. MP3 Pro codes the high frequencies with a different method called Spectral Band Replication w...

MP3PRO Does Ableton Live 5 have an MP3PRO Codec?

Hi there, I have some MP3PRO encoded MP3s and was wondering whether Ableton properly decodes them with an MP3pro codec. And yes I know, stay away from MP3 where possible. I just have a few sounds to port in and want to make sure I'm gettin' the best quality I can out of them. Thanks all The sun is s...

Sample Browser / Organizer Utility / Method?

Hey everyone, Does anyone know of a stand-alone sample browser/preview program? I want to be able to quickly go through a new loop/sample library and play/delete quickly. When I delete a sample in Ableton's browser it takes like 10 years to delete the file off the HD. The problem with media player s...

Re-Wire

If you have FLStudio 5 it has Re-Wire support. Check the help files to setup FLStudio as a rewire client. Bring up to 16 different channels from FL into Live. It will also be tempo synced and the transport controls will be slaved as well. I have it setup this way because I like FL's step sequencer t...
