Re: Automation Playback Error, Arrangment Window

Had the same problem here and couldn't work it out as some automation in the arrangement view was playing back ok but automation which I added in at a later time was causing the BTA button to constantly trigger as soon as playback hit the first breakpoint of that particular automation. I found the p...

Re: Dear Ableton Support, please respond to my emails.

They must have all gone missing at the end of january! I have an ongoing case number, they e-mailed me loads of times throughout january with lots of suggestions, which didn't resolve my problem, and then they just vanished into thin air...... nothing, nada. Perhaps their system has become unstable....

Re: anyone have an unwanted set of Reaktor 5 Manuals???

Ordered the "Manuals" (*2) from the NI website. Got 1 Manual paid for 2! E-mailed NI...got no reply. Phoned NI after getting bored of waiting for an e-mail... spoke to a girl from NI who coughed and spluttered some embarrassing rubbish which was suppossed to be an excuse for why I only got...

Re: First Listen: Massive Attack, 'Heligoland' until Feb. 9

Got my CD copy today. A few listens in and must say I'm loving it. The production and mastering really are top notch. Some fantastic sound in there. IMHO a few tracks offer a nod to Mezzanine. A great choice of vocalists. There a few slightly weaker tracks on my first and second listens. The standou...

Re: Vinyl

Anyway, the mere mention of vinyl (check the title) MUST mean that one is a DJ of course?[NOT] And as it's vinyl we're talking about....that MUST mean that the post was really a lead into having a debate about which format the DJ's of today should be using to show that they're staying in tune with t...

Re: Your favourite books about music....????

Anyone ever read "Under-Currents. The Hidden Wiring of Modern Music"?

Wondered if it was worth picking up or not? Amazon says it's a collection or essays from The Wire Magazine which adds weight to it I think.

When I'm not listening to music, finding and buying new music or playing and making music I have a tendency to read books about........... music (because I have a broad range of hobbies you know!) On my shelf to read next, when I eventually finish the Live 8 and Reaktor manuals are a couple of...

Re: anyone have an unwanted set of Reaktor 5 Manuals???

Ahhhh... Good man!!!No I have a registered copy, got in the the Download version a short while ago when the price was cheap. Printed the PDF version of the manual out but 1000 page loose leaf manual is proving a bit cumbersome... and it's a pain in the arse when you drop it! Cheers for the link my m...
