Re: Ableton Live with Waves Plug-ins
Dazzer - Are you saying that waves plug-ins in Live should be used only in VST format instead of AU for better performance/overall operation? I ask because I currently use AU on all of my waves plugs in Live, and they all work fine, with the exception of having to turn them on and off every time I o...

Effects On Master Channel
Hey Everyone - Looking at the best way to put an effect ( let's say beat repeat or auto filter ) on the master channel to affect all working tracks except one track. Is there a way to exclude tracks that get affected by an effect? I'm working on a set that has about 60 tracks, so I don't want to hav...

Ableton Live with Waves Plug-ins
I currently use Live with Waves plugins. After I save a set, close live, then go to open it back up, none of my plug-ins are active. I have to manually go through each track, turn them off, then on again for them to work. It gets pretty cumbersome on a set with 50+ tracks to have to go in each track...

Re: Using Live 8 and Reason 6.5 rewire
Thanks anarktika.....yea, Im very well aware of how to bounce audio within live. My confusion was taking audio out of live and putting it into reason. I guess I could just take the file audio sample and copy it into reason.

Using Live 8 and Reason 6.5 rewire
I've used Live 8 reason together for many years. I want to try and use some of reason's effects on an audio track (vocal track) in ableton. I've used the external instruments in ableton to hear reason instruments. However, what should I do if I want to use for ex: the Polar effect in reason on a voc...

Plugins Turned off always when first opening a saved set
So I just purchased a bunch of waves plugins. I am having an issue where I save a live session with let's say 50 tracks. Let's say 30 of them have may waves plugins loaded on them. When I re-open that set, they are turned off, but still appear to be on, however they're not active until I go in 1 by ...

Drop Outs with Ultralite
Hey Everyone, I have been having a problem most recently with sessions that contain about 45-60 tracks. Majority of these tracks will be audio tracks, with some effects such as Eq, Comp, Delay, etc. An most times I may have 1 or 2 midi tracks. I usually try to keep them to a minimum due to the fact ...

Re: Using Live 8.0 for Live performances
Hey All, Yea monstrejumo you were mistaken. I clearly understand how to use ableton. What I was talking about was performing song is session view, that consists of 20 tracks. I use a lot of reason via external instruments on my tracks is well. What i was trying to figure out was how can I go from on...

Using Reason 4.0 W/Live 8
Hey All...I just picked up reason 4.0 premium. I'm really excited to start using it! I was wondering what is the most efficient way to use it with ableton live? Can it run like a VST plug-in that live will recgonize? Or is there a better way of doing it? Thanks in advance for advice!

Nice Electronic & Acoustic Drums Plug-in recommendations
Hey everyone. I'm looking for some high end drum plugins for both electric drums and some acoustic. Can anyone make recommendations? I have been using some east west plug-ins and have been absolutely thrilled with their performance. Incredible sounding instruments all around.
