Re: Max 6 for Max for Live ?
Thank you. To be clear: what I can't find a clear information about is whether or not I need to also buy a M4L license in order to run the objects I create with Max 6 inside M4L? As I remember it, the main difference back when Pluggo was discontinued in favor of M4L was that you needed to buy M4L i...

Re: Max 6 for Max for Live ?
Ok, I've been reading this thread plus Ableton's and Cycling's web sites, saying that "it works ok to use Max 6 with M4L" - but it still isn't clear to me if you need to buy both the M4L license and the Max 6 license? To use Max 6 as your M4L editor you have to own a full Max 6 license ot...

Re: Max 6 for Max for Live ?
My statements here and on the C74 forum were based on what one of the Ableton employees said here when Max 6 was first released. Apparently they didn't know what they were talking about at the time? Hey there, don't take things so personally. I think the C74 line during the beta period was really a...

Re: Max 6 for Max for Live ?
I've managed to get a little more light on this matter from Andrew Pask (C74) over on the C74 forum. http://cycling74.com/forums/topic.php?id=36738 As you'll see there are big advantages to using Max 6 with M4L (64-Bit audio objects, integration of Gen based patches etc.) And if you come across any ...

Re: (sharing) A collection of devices
It's like Christmas has come again! Fantastic generosity from the clever M4L scientists has bolstered my collection of devices in a single day. Now I just need to put some quality time aside to dissect them all and increase my own fledgling knowledge...

Re: Style Council - Promised Land (Leftside Wobble Edit)
I am a huge fan of harmonic singing and it sounds like everyone was perfectly pitched either real or with help.....doesn't matter. No Autotune/mMlodyne business that's for sure. The backing vocals were provided by Dee C Lee, (who was married to Paul Weller at the time). Amazing 'Soul' voice. Check ...

Re: Style Council - Promised Land (Leftside Wobble Edit)
Love both versions (plus I did an edit of the Joe Smooth version a couple of years ago).Slightlydelic wrote:the joe smooth version is so much better than the style council
This version is all about DC Lee's backing vocals - damn soulful lady!
