for the sound card a nice and affordable one is the M-Audio Fast Track Pro. I bought mine a year ago and its still working good.

If you can fork up the cash the Apogee Duet is nice.

Honestly the best Idea I can give is go off of a basic tutorial and then just mess with everything. Sure the first things will sound lame but as you PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE you will improve. Its how I learned... and after 8 years I almost sound Pro... .

One thing that makes it even harder for me is the fact there is barely any EDM in Orlando Florida. Theres a couple concerts and those trenches are looking to be the only place to go. (First and second slot DJs)

Nowadays another useful tool to get noticed and get things going. Message boards, networking sites (myspace/FB/Soundcloud), etc. . Funny with my space, I honestly think most people don't listen to the tracks....... I wouldn't go as far as saying people just flat out don't listen, but it's true that...

@QNJ... sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but how does this fit into a backpack? Or if not a backpack how do you transport it? I'll look back on the M-audio page for dimensions, but was just curious if you have any experience with this and if it feels heavy, bulky, etc... Its not bulky p...
