Re: It's been a while!!

Funny you should say that as I prefer the minimal stuff myself and I do get a lot of feedback from the online community which makes me think it's the more popular sound but getting a gig playing the minimal stuff is like getting blood out a stone!! I do have a minimal set you've not all heard yet as...

Re: It's been a while!!

A bit of both really, I chop and re-arrange a lot of my tracks adding bits in for builds and breaks or making parts longer or shorter. When I did this set a lot of it was with tracks that I had messed with in ableton then exported as a waveform to mix with Traktor. I still use ableton for loops and ...

Re: Minimal Justice System - Twenty Ten (January)

Happy new year Neil. The bass appears to be eating up a large amount of headroom and that's why you recorded it at such an overall low average level. Guess if it were louder, you would be clipping. Take some of the LF off at around 50-100 hz on the bass would afford you more room to push the master...

Re: Darkroom Sessions - 10th Novemeber 2009

Thanks guys, always nice when someone enjoys what you're doing, a lot of my live sets are made up of other peoples tracks and some of my own work so I can't take all the credit for the sound but I do try to keep it interesting.

Cheers

Re: HELP I'm in driver hell!

If you use vista it should have backup points for about the last 5 registry changes which should nclude when you installed the driver. The good part is that these backups don't erase mp3 files or other unassociated registry changes you have made in the mean time!

Re: First projects in Ableton

The track "affirmative" sounds like the the bastard lovechild of the miami vice theme and some obscure euro acid track... Which can only be a good thing!! :D

Re: Ruso - Exclusive Live Set [Half step dnb, dubstep, hip-hop]

This really isn't what I would usually call "MY THING" however on listening to the first 5 minutes with my finger ready to skip on thru I stayed in the reay to skip pose until after 20 mins which says a lot... Although as I say it's not my usual bag I would happily pay an entry fee to see ...

Re: Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner (ish)

Great vibe... but... there is no progression.... the progression happens from the lyrics, but since this is a remix of the lyrics as a remix it's definitely incomplete :) It sounds good though just doesn't go anywhere. Thanks for the comment. :D You are 100% correct in saying it's incomplete as it ...

Re: New Soundcloud Track - The Last Man

The start of the track reminds me of a Hardfloor track!! How did you get the paper and comb (only thing I can think it sounds like) bass sound?

Good work! :D
