Problem solved, I had to download new Digi Core drivers !

Thanks... that sounds correct and all.... but ,Live, will not open, unless protools is opened. Also I down loaded a trial copy of Live 5 and my only audio options are core audio and sound flower?

thanks...but I wish it were that simple... If I don't launch protools....Live will not open.....ok now, If I am running protools.... I can't record into live because I guess live is in rewire ? My goal here is to run live without protools, but using mbox's inputs, so I can play keys to record, into ...

okay maybe your right, let me try to be a bit clearer... if i am not using protools at all, the program is not opened, I want to use live by itself....but it just freezes,til I force quit it.

I"m currently using a mbox with live ,but everytime i want to use live without protools it won't open, how come? I know this can be done true? I think I could get alot more out this fine piece of software if I could just get this to work seaminglessly with or without protools?

Protools mbox as a master, is there a logical way of doing this? I see that there is some really good information here , please here me say that so that any help is cool
