Re: Live 10/Push 2/Mac mini mid 2010

I have a 2nd hand late 2012 Mac mini. It has a 4core i7. I removed the original hard drive and put in a 500 gig SSD plus a 1 TB high-speed hard drive with 16 gigs of RAM. This is working really well with live 9.77. I bought this just before the new minis came out. It cranks along very nicely. A c2d ...

Re: Saving only specific clips/audio files for a set?

Hi Madlab
Sounds like too much mucking about. Anyway, I've got a fast computer with an ssd so everything loads pretty quickly.

Saving only specific clips/audio files for a set?

Hi Abes. Using common template that works well with my midi controllers, I build different sets of up to 150 scenes. I chop and swap clips from other sets to create, say, down tempo or up tempo sets. So when I "collect all and save" How do I ensure that I'm saving only the specific audio files used ...

Re: iPad/Midi to Computer Problem

Hey Yur2die4 Thanks for your reply. No notifications. I always use a powered hub for power-hungrys such as my Roland JU06, iPad and BS2. Interestingly the midi synths on the iPad do recognise the m1x1 in their settings menu when connected but no in/out.Also I'm using an old MT4 midi interface. Works...

Yosemite and Komplete 7

Hi there Abes. Recently I bought a refurbed mbp 2.6 Quad i7 running Yosemite 10.10.5, 8g ram, 500Gb ssd with Live 9.2.3 64 bit. Unfortunatelly I'm unable to install Komplete 7 on this system..(need Komplete 10)..Or so I thought! In "David's Music Blog" I found a simple hack that would allow Yosemite...

Re: New Computer

..Apple mafia..lol..like it! First I'd check the compatibility of any 3rd party software with your OS, especially Yosemite. Most people would say install the apps on your mac and the sound libraries on an external drive. Depends on your internal HD size Also. if you can afford it, get at least 512gb...

Re: Using a Thunderbolt to Express card/34 adaptor?

Hi Guys
I contacted Echo Audio but unfortunately there are no Yosemite drivers for a now obsolete product.
Plus they have never tested the compatibility...Bummer. Also it's not listed in their compatibility charts.
Your multiface however maybe...can you test before you buy ??

Using a Thunderbolt to Express card/34 adaptor?

Hi Abes It's been years since my last confession.. I've just bought a refurbed macbk pro late 2013 on Yosemite, with 2 TB2 ports. My current laptop is a 2008 mbp on 10.5.8 (yes), running an Echo Indigo express/34 sound card. While the Echo may not stand up to an Apogee etc, it's been pretty reliable...

Yes but can you open a 32 bit project inside a 64 bit app?
