They sound pretty good I just like to know or I'm always going to second guess myself.

Just nudge the audio in Logic in small steps like 1/128th of a note until it sits right. I'm assuming this is possible because it is in Cubase and most other traditional DAWS.

Is the vocal behind the beat or ahead of the beat?

Did you record at a different latency compared in one DAW compared to ...

I recorded my vocals in Live on my Mac with the project tempo set to 88 bpm warp on, I then imported the vocal recordings to Logic on my PC with the same tempo 88 bpm and the vocals are out of sync with the track by a little bit.

How would I figure exactly how much they are out?

I did this with my PC running Win XP and my Pbook G4 - no problem just needed a cable and dig through the exisiting software.

I use a semi shi**y mic for recording the singer of my band(cause I can't afford a good one) what I usually end up doing afterward is throw a pretty drastic ableton compression on it and adding some high mids to give it brightness and make it so you can really make out every tiny breath he's making ...

Quit drugs many years ago. Strange thing happens to me though, after a few drinks I'll come home and put on a track I've made and it sounds faster or too fast - maybe the achohol slows your hearing too.

Does this combo work well for Live on a 1.33 iBook? USB audio interface and Firewire drive for audio?
