I'm currently trying to set up my studio again after a long hiatus, and I seem to have forgotten a few things. Here's where I need help:

RME Fireface UCX II
MIDI solutions Quadra Thru (4 MIDI through and 1 MIDI input)
MacStudio (Ventura)
Korg Minilogue XD
Behringer 2600 ...

God,
looks like i will be forced to buy Absynth 4 because i just love the absynth.
maybe it will work this time without having to deal with 5 days of phone calls and tricking my fucking computer out with extra code because NI's negligence.

i can get the voc audio into file player , but how do i route the midi file into the vokator plug and then back out into live with the new vocoded vocal audio.

1) Ableton Live CPU Meter % - 60-65%
2) Laptop/Desktop? Make/Model - Powermac G5 1.8GHZ desktop
3) Operating System -OS X.4.7
4) CPU Make Model and Speed - Powermac 9,1 (G5 1.8GHZ single processor)

i have a recorded vocal track(audio, about 5 mins)
i want to play it back with a midi clip(about 5 mins) i have through the vokator.

how do i route so that the vocal audio(modulator) receives the midi track so i can then bounce the vocal again with the added vokator effect.

get an octapad, and set the latency to super-low.

then play all you want with the metronome. you will soon find out about your drum skills.
sometimes you have great timing, sometimes you don't.

its basically practice.
with practice comes feel and groove and etc.
