Hope you like them.

Update: This download actually works now! Apparently they have to be zipped or weird stuff happens.

Re: subtle inconsistant tape speed effect?

they're keyboards are sounding a lot like they've been recorded on a really shoddy run down tape or something I read an interview with BOC where they admitted to doing that very thing, bouncing recordings between two shoddy, run down tape machines until the signal is sufficiently degraded. I love t...

This is the free stuff, but their samples are reasonably priced. A bunch of free stuff here to check out: http://www.hollowsun.com/downloads/index.html What be...

Well, if you're looking for a great audio driver alternative, check out http://www.CEntrance.com . It's relatively inexpensive, and provides a nice boost for latency. Also check out http://www.pcpitstop.com/ . This software automatically tweaks Windows for optimum performance, it seems to work prett...

I tried both the M-Audio FW410 and the Ozonic, and neither of them worked at all on my Dell Laptop running WinXP. M-Audio has some serious driver issues they need to address. I now use a Presonus Firebox, which works wonderfully. I also have an Echo Indigo IO which has also been fabulous (and very p...

This tip totally rocks! Previously I had a template set up where one pedal sent a "select+arm" for each channel. As you can guess, the whole arm/disarm toggling made this very difficult to use. As if that weren't inefficient enough, I had efx on each destination track rather than on the ma...

So simple, yet so profound. I was distracted by Splonki's "MIDI Learn" buttons. So if that stuff is exposed on the expanded menu I'm good to go. Thanks for helping me to realize the obvious.

MIDI learn for inserted VSTs?

I just got SmartElectronix ioplong Splonki, and was messing with the midi learn feature. I didn't get far because it doesn't seem to see any midi signal. Is this because it's used as an insert effect? Is there a way to use midi learn on insert efx? Thanks.

Folks, you should head on over to the forum at http://www.zboard.com and start asking why there are no custom keysets for Ableton Live. If enough people express interest, it could compel them to consider making products for the music market. If you're not familiar with ZBoard, check it out, it's pre...
