Were you able to sort this? I still can't authorize mine, it's keeps telling me that it's an expired demo. Makes me think it buried some files somewhere in the registry that isn't deleted when the demo is uninstalled. I assume the problem will fix itself when I do a reformat (which I do periodically).

Not sure if it matters, but I am using Live 8 demo (so close to buying).
The alt+rescan does seem to still work, however now Live is just crashing all over the place! I deleted some less reputable vsts, like anything made in synthedit, as they were creating errors. However Live's stability is gone ...

It doesn't seem that cakewalks Rapture doesn't work in Live 8. I have it installed where my plugin folder in located, but Live doesn't see it. Is anyone else having this problem?

isn't this the same synth you get for free on the coverdisc of computer music magazine?

I am just curious if any of that list is accurate. I personally thought it was exciting!
